Gynecomastia surgery procedure? I mean how it’s done and all, anesthesia type

Can you please send me the details of gynecomastia surgery procedure? I mean how it’s done and all, anesthesia type etc. I am from Bhubaneswar. How many days I need to stay in Pune ( total surgery plus post op consultation). I wish to get it done in August.

You can plan for 2 days stay in pune. one day for the Gynecomastia procedure in pune and next day you can travel back.

Gynecomastia in very simple terms is enlargement of the male chest and is caused by excessive growth of breast tissue or gland.

1. Whats the grade of my gynecomastia, if you can deduce from the pics?

2. Will you be performing the surgery primarily? Thats my biggest concern as I have heard that in some surgeries the subordinates also perform it.

3. Won’t there be any issue with anesthesia? If in any case, i be given general anesthesia, will the anesthesia doctor be present inside the OT throughout the procedure?

4. Will there be drains connected to the cut area?

This is grade 2 gynecomastia

It will be performed by me only.

3. Won’t there be any issue with anesthesia? If in any case, i be given general anesthesia, will the anesthesia doctor be present inside the OT throughout the procedure?

We can arrange general anesthesia as well as per your preference.

The additional cost for general anesthesia is Rs 10,000/-

4. Will there be drains connected to the cut area?

We will put simple corrugated drain not the connecting pipe drain.

These will be removed next day.
